My Artistic Statement 

As an artist, I strive to evoke strong and varied emotions through my painting styles and photography, which can be quite dark and bizarre at times. 

I am a self-taught artist, always evolving with my techniques and styles.  I tend to defy many rules that dictate how art should be created.  To me, every stroke and choice of color are sparked by emotion.  The latter, along with where I allow a painting to lead me, defines "creation” to me.  

My photography, more often than not, is manipulated digitally to distort the original image.  The abstraction of the image creates interest and says more than the original print.

My style of photography and painting is uniquely mine, and viewers have hard and fast reactions, either loving or hating it.  It’s all good!  Strong emotions are evoked and that is the purpose of my work.
